A new ENERGY STAR certified room air conditioner uses at least 10% less energy than a conventional model, saving you about $50 over the unit's lifetime.

With high-efficiency fan motors and advanced compressors, ENERGY STAR certified units run more quietly and use less energy to circulate cool air more efficiently.
