Heating & Cooling Equipment Rebates

BGE offers up to $900 in rebates for ENERGY STAR® qualified heating and cooling equipment as described in the table below. Plus, if you purchase a qualifying gas furnace, ask your participating contractor if you are eligible for the Gas Furnace Tier 2 with Quality Installation rebate.

  1. Determine your eligibility.
  2. Choose an approved participating contractor.
  3. Have your contractor perform the installation and submit the rebate application.

Why Should I Buy High-Efficiency Equipment?
A high-efficiency heating and cooling system can help you improve comfort, reduce your energy use, and save you money. Although ENERGY STAR qualified models can be more expensive upfront, the additional cost is typically recovered through lower energy use.
