Home Performance with ENERGY STAR

1 hour (about) visual inspection/walk-through

 

3-4+ hour in-depth whole-house evaluation (time varies by home)

 

Installed at no additional cost, if you agree, are energy efficiency measures such as CFLs, faucet aerators, efficient flow shower head, water heater pipe wrap, and/or  a water heater tank wrap (for electric water heaters only)
Rebates up to $3,150 available for energy efficiency improvements like heating & cooling equipment, air sealing and insulation

 

Advanced diagnostic tests that may be included:
  • A blower door test that uses the combination of pressure and fan-flow measurements to determine your home’s air leakage
 
  • Thermographic camera that uses infrared images to assess the effectiveness of your home’s insulation

 

  • Combustion and safety testing to detect carbon monoxide and gas leaks

 

Detailed Home Performance Energy Audit report that includes the findings from diagnostic tests and specific home improvement recommendations to reduce your energy use
