Homeowners can save as much as $3,150 on home energy efficiency improvements with rebates from BGE’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program. 

What is Home Performance with ENERGY STAR?
Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is designed to improve the comfort, energy efficiency, health, safety, and durability of your home. By taking a “whole house” approach to energy efficiency, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR customers enjoy benefits like fewer drafty rooms, consistent temperatures across rooms, better ventilation and humidity control, and energy savings of up to 20%.

The first step is to schedule a Home Performance Energy Audit, which costs just $100* for BGE customers. This comprehensive home energy audit will reveal energy- and cost-saving opportunities in your home and includes installation of simple, energy-saving measures, such as compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), water heater pipe insulation, and faucet aerators. Plus, when you participate in the program, you’ll be eligible for up to $3,150 in rebates to make the recommended home energy efficiency improvements.
